On this R-data statistics page, you will find information about the Pottery data set which pertains to Chemical Composition of Pottery. The Pottery data set is found in the car R package. You can load the Pottery data set in R by issuing the following command at the console data("Pottery"). This will load the data into a variable called Pottery. If R says the Pottery data set is not found, you can try installing the package by issuing this command install.packages("car") and then attempt to reload the data with the library() command. Chemical Composition of Pottery

Description

The data give the chemical composition of ancient pottery found at four sites in Great Britain. They appear in Hand, et al. (1994), and are used to illustrate MANOVA in the SAS Manual. (Suggested by Michael Friendly.)
