R Dataset / Package Stat2Data / Cuckoo
On this R-data statistics page, you will find information about the Cuckoo data set which pertains to Cuckoo. The Cuckoo data set is found in the Stat2Data R package. You can load the Cuckoo data set in R by issuing the following command at the console data("Cuckoo"). This will load the data into a variable called Cuckoo. If R says the Cuckoo data set is not found, you can try installing the package by issuing this command install.packages("Stat2Data") and then attempt to reload the data with the library() command. If you need to download R, you can go to the R project website. You can download a CSV (comma separated values) version of the Cuckoo R data set. The size of this file is about 2,138 bytes.

Details
Cuckoos are knows to lay their eggs in the nests of other (host) birds. The eggs are then adopted and hatched by the host birds. The data give the lengths of cuckoo eggs found in nests of varous other bird species.
