R Dataset / Package Stat2Data / HawkTail
On this R-data statistics page, you will find information about the HawkTail data set which pertains to HawkTail. The HawkTail data set is found in the Stat2Data R package. You can load the HawkTail data set in R by issuing the following command at the console data("HawkTail"). This will load the data into a variable called HawkTail. If R says the HawkTail data set is not found, you can try installing the package by issuing this command install.packages("Stat2Data") and then attempt to reload the data with the library() command. Tail lengths measured for a sample of 838 hawks observed in Mount Vernon, Iowa. Note: HawkTail2 has similar data in unstacked format for three species of hawks.
